This is an Alan Elf horse by Doll Chateau in white resin.  He has been painted, wigged and dressed by Angie of Oobie Doll for the Pacific Northwest BJD Expo, 2018.  Some lucky attendee will win this doll as one of the grand prizes!  

This sculpt was one of my favorites from 2017 and also from one of my favorite companies, Doll Chateau.  Time and time again, they push the boundaries of resin doll-making and bring up beautiful and interesting sculpts.

I had spent 2 months creating Alan in my spare time this year.  His outfit was hand sewn directly onto his body to get that perfect fit.  This is removable.  I had chosen wools and had boiled them for the safety of your doll's resin and had chosen colors an elf horse may have worn on a casual day.  This was adorned with trinkets and things found along the way.

Alan is incredibly photogenic for wig display.  The PNW gift doll will come with the warm red tones wig.

His red wig is full of texture and colors, much of which was hand dyed, lovingly washed and hand spun.  There is just enough glitz and glam to make Alan happy, lol!  A few of you may know this already, but my latest quest in wig making is teaching myself to spin art yarns.  Keep tuned!
