Beautifully detailed cotton swim suit designed by Oobie Doll and inspired by a 1950's swim suit. I have adjusted the style a bit to suit the adolescent age of Kaye's 1/4 size dolls. This suit will fit perfectly the Layla body as shown. I worked with Doll Heart on this project supplying them the design and fabrics. Doll heart's team has produced a small limited edition for Oobie Doll.
You will see the tiniest diamond detail within this knit. I have washed and dried this fabric to prevent any possible staining of your doll as well as Doll Heart has give the swim suit a full inner liner in white.
The skirt is a fun and bright gingham print, sewn and pressed into tailored double box pleats. Under the skirt is the continuation of the navy suit. These pleats are sweetly contained by the tulip scallops of the front body.
The fit in the rear is hopelessly 1950's with my personal favorite, squared off bum! This perfectly hugs the curves of this Wiggs 1/4 body. Two seams running up the back complete this look and add a nice structure to the suit, again, lined in white.
A working zipper and the tiniest working buttons complete the detail as well as make for easy dressing.

The below photos are of Connie Lowe's Stella. The fit is very sweet on her as well and perfect for those dollies going on a winter vacation. As with most suits and body types, there is always something....the fit is the tiniest bit tight across her bum if you were to consider this to fit like a glove. But I feel the fit is adorable and Stella wears it just fine!!
